Horseshoe lamps are so called because they have a horseshoe at their base. They are amongst the more rare types of rustic desk lamp but are much sought after nevertheless. They come in a whole range of designs because it is literally only the base that is in the shape of a horseshoe. These were popular years ago because superstitious individuals considered the horseshoe a lucky symbol. If you need a little luck then these may be the lamps for you.

Flat Base Lamps

This is a broad description of most of the range of rustic lamps on offer today. They all have flat bases, but that is often the only thing the different designs have in common. They come in a range of shapes, sizes and colours so you can always find what you are looking for under this heading.
